Privacy Policy

Effective August 27, 2026. Last updated August 27, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Outbid.top collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the Service, click a listing, submit a destination, or pay for ranking placement. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Who is responsible

Outbid.top is responsible for personal data processed through the Service. Privacy requests and questions may be sent to support@outbid.top.

What we collect

  • Listing and checkout data: the URL or X handle you submit, bid amount, and public name, description, image, and other metadata resolved for that destination.
  • Payment data: checkout, order, payment, amount, currency, status, and payer-email information received from Creem. Creem collects payment-card and billing details directly; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Click data: the listing clicked, time, a one-way hash of the IP address, user agent, referrer, country code, and whether the request appears automated.
  • Technical and analytics data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, approximate location, referrer, and interaction data processed in server logs or through Google Analytics.
  • Preferences and messages: your language preference cookie and correspondence you send to customer support, including listing, rights, payment, and privacy requests.

Cookies and analytics

The outbid_locale cookie stores your language choice for up to one year. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and interactions. Google may process analytics data under its own privacy terms. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser or supported Google controls.

We do not use the language cookie for advertising. Browser or infrastructure security features may also store information needed to keep the Service reliable and prevent abuse.

Why we use information

  • To create or upgrade a listing, confirm payment, assign rank, and provide the Service you requested.
  • To fetch and display public listing metadata, count clicks, measure traffic, maintain the leaderboard, and improve site performance.
  • To detect bots, fraud, manipulated clicks, security incidents, prohibited content, and other abuse.
  • To respond to support, rights, privacy, payment, and legal requests and maintain appropriate records.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, sanctions, court, and other legal obligations where applicable.

Public listings

Ranks, bid totals, names, images, descriptions, destination links, ages, and click counts on the board are public and may be indexed by search engines. Do not submit a destination if you are not authorized to make this information public. Fetching metadata may disclose to the destination that Outbid.top requested its page.

Who receives information

We do not sell personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on contractual or other legally recognized safeguards offered by those providers.

  • Creem, for checkout, payment processing, tax handling, fraud prevention, and payment confirmation.
  • Google Analytics, for site usage and performance measurement.
  • Hosting, database, content-delivery, security, and infrastructure providers, currently including Vercel and Postgres-based services.
  • Public metadata and identity-lookup services needed to retrieve a site's or profile's public name and images.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, rights holders, or a buyer of the Service when disclosure is reasonably required by law, to enforce the Terms, protect rights, or transfer the project.

How long we keep information

  • The language cookie lasts up to one year or until you clear it.
  • Public listings remain while displayed and may remain for a limited period in backups, moderation records, or payment history after removal.
  • Payment identifiers, payer email, and amounts are retained as needed for accounting, tax, fraud, chargeback, and dispute records.
  • Click and technical records are retained only as long as reasonably useful for aggregate counts, security, rate limiting, debugging, and abuse prevention.
  • Support and legal correspondence is retained as needed to respond, establish a record, and meet legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal data we hold, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. We may ask for information needed to verify and locate your data.

Removing a listing from Outbid.top does not remove information from the destination website, X profile, search-engine cache, payment provider, or records we must retain by law.

Children

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can review and delete identifiable data where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy when the Service, providers, or law changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
